Green Room FinTech · Money20/20 War Room

Thousands of founders will be at Money20/20. Get the right reporters to notice you.

Money20/20 USA runs October 18 to 21 at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Every reporter there hears from booths, PR firms and founders all week. The War Room is the strategy for standing out: who is covering the show, what each of them wants to hear, the angle that fits your company, the drafts, and the side events where you can actually meet them. You approve and send everything yourself, and nothing goes out that your compliance team has not seen.

Who is covering the show and what each wants, your angle and pitch drafts, 10 side events, and the whole FinTech room through October 31.

The strategy

How an early-stage founder gets noticed in a room of thousands.

The founders who get coverage at Money20/20 are rarely the ones with the biggest booth. They know which reporters are covering the show, they lead with the one thing each reporter needs, and they are in the room where that reporter is having a drink. The War Room does all three with you.

1

Know who is covering it

Reporters, editors, podcast hosts and newsletter writers on this year's speaker and media lists, from outlets including Axios, American Banker, Banking Dive, Bloomberg, CoinDesk, FinTech Futures, Fintech Takes and This Week in Fintech. Checked against their current beat, not last year's.

2

Lead with what they want

Each one wants something different: a funding story in five bullets, a bank pilot with a named reference, a data point consumers feel. The War Room tells you which, and drafts your pitch to fit. No funding news? We help you find the angle in what you have.

3

Be where they are

The receptions, dinners and happy hours worth asking into from October 18 to 20, matched to your category, with how to get on the list.

What's in the War Room

Everything for the week, in one room.

1

The on-site press desk

The reporters, editors, podcast hosts and newsletter writers at Money20/20 this year, from the trade and business press that covers payments and banking. Checked by former journalists. You open each contact when you are ready to pitch them, so you only spend on the people who fit you.

2

The order to pitch

Five to approach first, in order, with what each one wants to hear: a funding story in five bullets, a bank pilot with a named reference, a data point consumers feel.

3

Your angle, written

One line on why your company matters to the people covering payments and banking this week, built from your numbers. Every pitch starts from it.

4

Side events worth asking into

Ten receptions, dinners and happy hours from October 18 to 20, from bank leaders to fraud, consumer credit and stablecoins, with who each one is for.

5

Everything else, through October 31

Search the full fintech press directory, get matched with the reporters and podcasts that fit your company, and draft a pitch for each contact you open. All included in the $99.

6

After the show

The 48-hour and 7-day follow-ups, plus the next windows: the Money20/20 Europe call for content, SXSW Pitch and the Nacha call for proposals.

What we never do. We never send pitches for you and we never promise coverage. Coverage is the reporter's call. We give you the right person, the right week and a pitch worth reading.

Not going to Vegas? The same reporters cover the news that week. Post-show pitches with a fresh number still work, and the room is yours through October 31.

Questions

Before you open the room.

Do I need a Money20/20 ticket?

Meeting reporters in person and the side events need you there. The press desk, the pitch drafts and the FinTech room work either way, because the reporters on site cover the news all week.

Is it too late?

No, but this week matters most. Reporters fill their show schedules in the days before October 18, and the side-event hosts close their lists too.

I have no funding news. Is this for me?

Yes. Most founders at Money20/20 have nothing to announce that week. We help you find the angle in what you already have: a customer result, a number from your own data, or your take on the story everyone is covering.

Who is it for?

Early-stage FinTech founders: payments, banking and BaaS, lending and credit, fraud and risk, wealth and investing, insurtech and digital assets.

What happens after I pay?

You set a password and open your room. The War Room tab has the plan, the press desk and the side events, and the rest of the FinTech room is open too.

What if I have a concern after I pay?

Email hello@greenroom.press and a person reads it and replies. The pass is a one-time purchase and is not refundable; if something went wrong with your charge, write within 14 days and we will fix it.

What about compliance?

Nothing is sent for you. Every draft waits for your approval and goes out from your own inbox, so whoever reviews your public statements sees it first.

Doors open October 18. Have your reporters lined up before they do.
